The Goodman`s have released their July Market report which compiles data from the first six months of the year and watches trends and compares whem with previous periods. A very interesting report for the multi-family investor and broker.

CBRE released that May report last month. While its not new news, its still useful and pertinent information that is a good read if you haven’t taken a look yet. Plus it has CB’s fancy branding and design, which is always very well done.

Retail Lease Rates Spring 2009 Report

Might be a month late on this one, but still an interesting read. This is a report from Colliers International with all the top Global Retail Centres and their rates. Top retail corridors in the US including 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue in New York saw decreases in lease rates of $250 and $350 per square foot per annum respectively.. which is a huge drop.

Vancouver Resale Homes Continue to Rise in May

Canada Real Estate Association statistics are out for May, and they show seasonally adjusted sales increases of 8 percent for Vancouver. While not directly related to commercial real estate, an increase in residential real estate sales indicates consumer confidence and a return to a balanced economy. This is good news for the Commercial Investor.
