Translink has just purchased another peice of industrial land in Richmond. This property is located at 23660 Westminster Highway in East Richmond towards the Queensborough Bridge and New West. The site is 10.672 acres (464,877 sq.ft.) and zoned a mixture of I1, I2 and R1/F. The purchase price for the property was $7,875,000 and brokered by Avison Young.
New Development: Harbourside Village, North Vancouver
Concert Properties has approached City Council with a proposal to turn the 136,000 square foot lot at 801 Harbourside Drive in North Vancouver into a large mixed-use neighbourhood. The planned community includes 525,000 square feet of residential space, and 320,000 square feet of office space. This project is still in the planning stages, and may not actually happen. One Councillor, Bob Fearnley, has already expressed his disapproval due a GVR mandate to preserve industrial land in outlying municipalities.
